SACRED Receives $30,000 Grant from Sky Ranch Foundation to Support Sexually Abused Children
Kansas City, MO — The Sexually Abused Children’s Relief Endeavor (SACRED) is honored to announce it has been awarded a $30,000 grant from the Sky Ranch Foundation to support its mission of helping families in crisis following incidents of child sexual abuse.
This generous gift will directly fund SACRED’s financial assistance Kids Are Sacred program, which provides emergency relief for essential needs such as housing, transportation, utilities, and food assistance as families navigate the aftermath of child sexual abuse and begin the path toward healing.
“This grant from Sky Ranch Foundation comes at a critical time,” said Gina McCord, Executive Director of SACRED. “As the number of families seeking support continues to rise, this funding will allow us to respond quickly, compassionately, and effectively—meeting families right where they are, when they need it most.”
Sky Ranch Foundation’s investment in SACRED is part of its ongoing commitment to supporting organizations that serve youth who are at risk. Their partnership helps ensure that no family walks their journey alone.
